I had the loveliest surprise yesterday (2nd September 2025)—Prue was wearing Zabo earrings on the brand-new series of The Great British Bake Off! I honestly had no idea until one of my wonderful customers messaged me after spotting them on screen.
What makes it even more exciting is that this isn’t the first time my jewellery has appeared on Bake Off. Two years ago, a circle-shaped inner tube necklace and earrings I made were worn by Prue in the final episode.
Back then, her stylist had bought them from me, and I remember wondering where they might end up. Seeing them make their way onto TV not once but twice feels like such a magical full-circle moment.
As a maker, you never really know where your creations will travel or how they’ll be used. To watch something I designed—something made with love and care—find its place on such a well-loved show feels surreal. It’s little surprises like this that remind me why I do what I do.
