This is my best-seller necklace, sold so many around the world. I have a special cutting technique to create and cut these curly pieces.
Length of tube pieces: 2 inches- 6 inches, 5 cm - 12 cm
Fitted on 18.5" jewellery chain with lobster clasp and 3" extender
Laura Zabo creates vegan and eco-friendly pieces, so this is a perfect gift idea for a vegan or eco-conscious friend.
This statement necklace is made from 3-4 bicycle inner tubes, therefore it is heavier than an average necklace. The weight is approximately 300 grams.
If you have never owned a bicycle inner tube necklace, you might wonder if they smell bad. Inner tubes do not have the same strong smell as car tires. Once they are cleaned, they shouldn't smell at all. My reviews also prove this. I have sold these necklaces to hundreds of customers and for special occasions, from red carpet events to weddings. Because I collect the rubber from bicycle shops, I receive different brands and states of use every time. Therefore, it is very rare that one inner tube has a stronger smell. If this happens, simply message me and we will resolve it :)

As an artist who relies on sales, I sometimes struggle to keep up with the latest technical and algorithm updates on Etsy. During busy times, I work long hours—sometimes 15-hour days for weeks—but then orders can suddenly slow down. That's why I'm always trying new ways to market and price my work. Maybe you bought something from me before at a different price.
I started upcycling tires in 2015 after a trip to Tanzania. I truly believe handmade items are more valuable than mass-produced ones, and in my own life, I mostly choose second-hand or handmade goods. Upcycling tires isn't easy, but I see it as a mission to inspire people to pick upcycled products over fast fashion and to show how much creativity can achieve.
